Diet Break Day 2

Recap of Day 1:

It was kind of nice not weighing things out. Very weird though. I didn't know how much of everything I was eating. I normally know EXACTLY what I'm eating in the day.

I also had a yummy snack.. An apple and a yogurt! It was like a total treat! :)

Then Tony and I went to go see A Dog's Purpose. Such a cute movie, by the way!

And I had a protein bar with some Halo Top! Woot woot!

I would say it was a good day. I do think I went over my normal calories. But it was my first day.. I think I go a little excited.

I woke up this morning at 126lbs. Heavier than I would like to be. I do have to keep in mind that the past three days have been off (It is my bday week, so I have been enjoying myself a little).

Now Day 2...

I am feeling good. Not stressed about what I am eating. Even when I stepped on the scale, I didn't really mind the extra weight. I know that it will drop back down once I dial things in/figure it all out.

I had a yummy breakfast... Protein waffle, egg white omelette, and an apple. The only carbs in this breakfast was the little bit of sugar free syrup I used and the apple. The rest was protein and fats.

I decided I wanted to have a higher protein and fat breakfast to see how satiated I feel. I normally start getting hungry around 8:30am-9am. So far, so good (I am writing this blog at 8:25am).

I mentioned yesterday that I was only going to weigh myself once a week. I think I am going to weigh myself daily (as long as I do NOT stress over it). The reason for this is because I want to see how my body responds to the different things I am eating. I am going to write down what I eat each day. I will not be actually tracking the macros or calories, just the foods.

Tony told me that that is still a little meticulous... But it is a little more relaxed than I used to be. Baby steps! Ha!
