Food for Thought 2

Monday = Squat Day!!!

Squat Day = High Carb Day

High Carb Day = Excited Kaylie!

Lol. This is my first high carb day doing my own macros. And I started my day off with a delicious pre-workout meal!

Egg whites, spinach, 1 omega 3 egg, 3 pieces of toast, and grits! SO GOOD!!!!

Macros = P28/C60/F6 = 398 calories

Then I went to Kabuki to do SQUAAATTTSSSS!

I don't know if I was just having a really good day.. Or if it was all the food! Lol. We can say it was both!

But my last heavy set was 260lbs for 3 reps!

You can check out my squat video by clicking the picture above!

After that I was very tired! Haha. But I finished up my workout. Then ran some errands with my love (we looked at a new apartment and went tanning).

We got home a little after 4pm... We decided to have a cheat meal. Mondays are the best day for us to have a cheat meal because...

1. We just did heavy squats, so our body could use the calories

2. We have a lower calorie day Tuesday

3. We don't have a big training day Tuesday, so we don't have to worry about feeling bleh for a big lifting day.

This will be our last cheat meal for the next couple weeks.Which will be good! It will allow me to dial in my eating.. And get back down in weight.

This is a picture of some of the "snacks" Tony and I got. We also had some pizza! Yes, we are fat kids at heart! Lol.

Why do "cheat?"

At the moment, I am in a powerlifting phase. My main focus is performance, and as much as I want to stay lean... I don't really have to. I am still at my leanest, lightest, and strongest I have ever been in a bodybuilding off season. So why can't I enjoy myself for ONE meal out of the week. BTW, I eat 42 meals in a week.

I tend to stress way too much over my body weight and food. And there is no need to. I know what I have to do to make weight or diet down for a show. And I know I will get it done with I need to. So eating this one fun meal with my boyfriend isn't going to kill me.

Back on track tomorrow.. & for 100% for the next couple weeks.
