Competition bench day = High carb day!
Woot woot! This time no cheat meal at night. So I am excited to see where my weight is at in the morning.
It will probably be up a little bit, but that's okay. Tomorrow is a low carb day. So things will balance out.
Blogging about all of this seems to help me relax about everything. I don't feel stressed about my eating and/or weight. I'm not sure if it is because my meets are getting closer, or if it is because I am sharing everything with you. Either way, I like it.
Like I mentioned before.. My mind just seems to be in a good place.
It is crazy how one's mindset changes like this. A couple weeks ago all I could think about is cookies and ice-cream. Now I just think about making progress and being at my best!
I was beginning to worry if I was ever going to diet the way I used to. And I now know that I am just fine.
Food is just food. Food is my fuel. I will eat the best to be my best!
HIGH CARB DAY MEALS:
Meal 1: Egg whites, 1 omega 3 egg, spinach, 3 pieces of toast, grits, and coffee
Meal 2: Cyclic Dextrin (intra-workout shake)
Meal 3: Chicken, bagel, and rice cakes
Meal 4: FlatOut wrap, chicken, spinach, greek yogurt, and an apple
Meal 5: Ground turkey, broccoli, and green beans
Meal 6: Protein pudding and metamucil
