HAPPY FRIDAY!
I woke up at 125 this morning.
I'm happy to see the scale go down.. But I'm not really liking the way I am looking.
I know that that isn't my focus right now.. But I can't help it. Lol. OH WELL!
I will turn my focus back to powerlifting! And just being the strongest that I can be! While still making weight for both of my meets.
Tomorrow will be 4 weeks out from the first meet of 2017. I am very excited!
Both of the meets I am doing this year have cash prizes. That is kind of cool!
Well... This blog is supposed to be about food... So let's talk food!
Today is a high carb day. But for some reason I was really hungry. Even with eating more calories.
Either I am being a little fatty, or my metabolism is speeding up!
It doesn't really matter which one it is.. Because I am going to do my best to stick to my macros...
Speaking of macros, and sticking to them... I did add 1tbsp of peanut butter to my pre-workout meal.
Pre-Workout Meal:
-Cream of wheat
-Protein powder
-Strawberries
-SF Chocolate syrup
-Peanut butter
I added the tablespoon of peanut butter because... 1. I was hungry 2. The fats would slow down the digestion of my meal making me feel more satiated.
And it worked! Yay! I feel good. & I only have a little over an hour left of work THEN I GET TO DEADLIFT! Woo!
So... Even though my diet break didn't last very long... I still learned from it.
I feel like I am able to relax a little bit more now. I have changed up my meals. And eating that 1tbsp of peanut butter isn't making me go crazy.
I am in my off season, and focusing on strength.. No need to stress and be so strict!
After my meets, I will have 20 weeks of being SUPER STRICT!
Contest prep starts May 20th!
That will be here in no time! So at the moment, if I want to have 1tbsp of peanut butter, I will! Because when prep starts.. I am 100% in!!!! Every macro will be on point! I like to know that I gave it absolutely everything I've got!
This will be my Pro Debut! The girls I will competing against will not be cheating.
Welp... It is time for me to get things ready to close up at work. Bye for now :)
