HOW LONG AM I GOING TO CONTINUE THIS BLOG?
Idk.. Maybe forever! Hahaha.
Okay.. So here is my current shape.
It is so crazy how much one week of being 100% on can do for the body!
I feel really good... Other than being extremely tired.
Yesterday I got in all my meals.
And for some reason drank SO MUCH water. Lol. I guess I'm thirsty.
Yesterday was a low day.
The only carbs I had were with my first meal.
Oh and.. I don't know if I mentioned that I have cut out my fasted cardio.
I originally was just being lazy. I have been so tired from my crazy schedule that I have been over sleeping (I still get up at 430am).
But since I have cut out the cardio.. My weight has been dropping. So I figured my body needed the break and the rest.
I know it sounds weird.. Cardio is supposed to help one lose weight. But cardio is stress on the body.. And stress increases ones cortisol levels, which hinders weight loss.
So I will ride out this no cardio thing :)
Okay... So... Whenever I have a meet or a show coming up I tend to get a little stressed.
The same thing happened before a cheer competition.
But what seems to really help me relax it just sticking to the plan, and doing the least amount of thinking (I always over think things).
I get obsessed with cartoons or overly happy shows/movies.
I will only listen to super happy and sometimes calming music when I workout.
It all just helps me find a happy place and stay calm and collected, AND READY for my upcoming meet or show.
A new thing that I found out that works.. READING. Not super complicated things though. Something easy like Under the Bar. It is about something that I love with good stories within it.
TODAY'S MEALS: (medium/training day)
1. Egg whites, Omega 3 egg, sharp cheddar cheese, spinach, cauliflower rice, and toast
2. Chicken and brussel sprouts
3. Chicken and green beans
4. Ground turkey, ground beef, and broccoli
5. Cream of wheat, protein powder, and SF chocolate syrup (pre-workout meal)
6. White rice, ground turkey, and rice cakes (I might replace this with pudding and some other carb)
--> I like sweets.. So that is why I might switch out that meal. And I love my protein pudding! SO GOOD!
OH AND... You might have noticed that I haven't been having much Halo Top. I cut back on that because it just isn't as beneficial as real food. Plus it is pricey.. And I lowered my macros.. So I don't really have the room for it.
