Monday Motivation

Are you having fun?

Are you living the life that you have always wanted to live?

Are you doing what you love?

If you aren't, then why aren't you? What is stopping you? What is holding you back? Do you even know?

A lot of times, it is excuses or pure laziness. But why? Excuses are the easy way out. Laziness is just silly! THIS IS YOUR LIFE WE ARE TALKING ABOUT! I used to think that I was always busy. But was I really? NO! I was doing busy work, but never actually accomplishing anything (this goes for things outside of the gym for me). I am now opening my eyes and mind to the rest of this amazing world! YES, I absolutely love health and fitness, but there is so much more out there!

Like furthering your education... Even if you are not in school... You can still read! Research! LEARN! Once you stop learning, you stop growing. If you have a question and about something, or are curious how something works... THEN LOOK IT UP! Granted, I not the best at this quite yet, but I am getting better!

That's another thing... Improve yourself! The better you are, the better you can be for others! Improve yourself in every way possible. Know your strengthes and build off them. Know your weaknesses and learn from them.

Most importantly, make sure during this journey we call life... YOU ARE DOING WHAT YOU LOVE! If you don't love your job, then find one that you do! If you are surrounded by negative or mean people... Then go find new friends! If you are unhappy with the way you look or feel... Then eat healthier and be more active.

I listen to Jocko Willink's podcast. Man is it amazing! I would definitely recommend checking it out. I would also recommend you read his book Extreme Ownership. Jocko always says... If you want to wake up earlier, THEN WAKE UP EARLY. Meaning, if you want to do something, THEN DO IT!

Stop making excuses or being lazy!

Get your butt up and live your life!

Take care of yourself inside and out!

Go have fun with amazing people!

Go learn something new!

Travel to the world with your loved one!

Opportunities are endless! You just have to stop holding yourself back! Figure out what you want to do. Create a game plan to make that possible. And then GO!
