I am sitting here at work. I'm a little bored because we have been pretty slow.
So I figured... I haven't written just a babble kind of blog in a while. So here we go :)
I am now a little over 3 months post-show. I have been sitting around 119lbs.
Coach said that we are not going over 120. So I need to get my sh*t together and drop a little bit of weight... Or just leaning out a bit, while maintaining my body weight. I'd be happy with either.
It is kind of crazy to think that I am this far past my shows and still in decent shape.
The last time I stepped on stage... Only a month after I was up 40lbs! INSANE!
My coach said that there is no reason to get that heavy. That just fat weight, not muscle. If it was muscle then that would mean that I probably out grew the sport. Ha! And I definitely have not out grown it. I'm still tiny.
A lot of the girls that I compete with are 120 on stage! Some of he girls that compete on the Olympia stage are in the 150's. They are also taller than me... So I definitely do not plan on getting that heavy.
With that being said... I will be competing in bodybuilding this year. I planned on taking two years off to grow... But my coach said that he thinks it will be better to do at least one show a year.

Hello!
Sorry for the delay in blogs.
The last time I wrote... Was my last day at work (the dealership) for the week.
Then I had a busy weekend.
Tony and I flew out the L.A. for the expo. He competed in his first powerlifting meet of the year.
It wasn't his best meet.
1. He couldn't keep weight on the week of the meet... Just kept waking up lighter each morning. Even if he ate more the day before.
2. He had some injuries.. Well still has them.
3. Due to those injuries... Training wasn't the best.
4. He had a really long prep because he was originally prepping for a meet in November, but didn't do that one... So he pretty much hopped right into prep for this meet.
5. He got a cold the week of the meet.
Shit happens... And we do our best to work with and around it.
He still showed up & gave it his best for the day!
And even though it wasn't his all time best... He actually placed second!
Now let's talk about the good things about the weekend...
1. We got to see some friends!
2. We ate some amazing food! Yes... I went off plan this weekend. My body wasn't happy with me, but it was worth it! I had a great time with my man!
3. I got to meet one of Tony's really good friends from the military. He was such a great guy!!!
And now we are back home... Back on track... & ready to work! && improve!
