I am at the gym right now. I know that doesn't seem like the best time to be writing a blog.. But I just had to vent in a way. I just did a set of squats. It was harder than I wanted it to be. And that is totally okay.

But for some reason... I am now crying. Hence me writing this. Why am I crying? Who fricken knows?!

I just want to be good SO BAD!!!

I am willing to give it all I've got to bring my best!!!!

And right now... I don't feel like I look the part of being an IFBB Pro.

Okay... I have composed myself. I was like really crying.

The kind of crying that makes you have to catch your breath... & you body shakes.

But I wiped my nose.. Left the tears... And got back to training!!!

I dropped the weight on squats and just did extra reps to make up for not getting the amount I wanted on that one hard set.

Happy Labor Day, everyone!

I find it amusing how on "labor" day... No one goes to work.

I keep forgetting that it's a holiday... & I was wondering why the gym was so packed today!

LOL. Now I know why.

Welppp... I text my coach to tell him to check his email (in a nicer way than that of course).

So he said that we will be making changes and starting tomorrow!!! YESS! LET'S FRICKEN DO THIS SHIT!!!

Man! This blog has been quite sporadic! Sorry about that you guys!!!

Well... Today has started off great! Actually.. All week has been great!

As you read above... Sunday was a little rough mentally and emotionally. Monday was a little rough as well...

But come Tuesday and Wednesday... I'm feeling so much better mentally and emotionally.

PHYSICALLY! Not better! I feel EXHAUSTED! So pooped from killing things up a notch!

But that's what I asked for! So I'm definitely not complaining!!!!

Now I feel like I am officially prepping!

The suffering has begun!!!

So odd that when things are going smooth and feel easy... I get worried that things aren't working. Ha!

So... What changes were made to my program??

1. I intensified my cardio. Instead of doing my spin bike at home (which has no resistance because I broke it somehow)... I now go to Bfit (a local corporate gym) and I do the stairs. I do 2 mins steady state, 30 seconds fast pace! My steady state is around level 5 or 6. And my fast pace will be between level 10 and 15. Depends on how I'm feeling, and if I'm going to fall off the machine or not. LOL.

2. My coach did also increase cardio a little. I am now going to be doing 6 days fasted cardio for one hour. And 5 days post workout for 45 mins. The last 15 mins of each session can me LISS (low intensity steady state).

3. My coach also lowered food a little. I officially only get veggies for my carbs! Even post workout. Which I'm okay with because I love my veggies!!! Especially cucumbers right now! They are just so refreshing!!!

He also lowered the carbs on my refeed day. So now it is 60g of carbs in each meal, 75g post workout. He does still want me to have a "healthy" cheat meal to replace the last meal for that day. So that pretty much means eat diet food until I am full. No measuring it. He said that I can have some low fat protein bars and low calorie ice cream too!

4. We will be increasing some fat burners come 4 weeks out from my first show. This might change because we want to also make sure that my body is healthy. Being on different supplements for too long can be harmful.

I think that's about it for now. Some good changes! And I'm excited to see how my body responds!!!

Oh and I will also be practicing my posing Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings.

And I will be tanning Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday afternoons.

Each morning after fasted cardio and before posing I will be doing either calves or abs. Just depends on how they feel. For instance, my abs have been sore.. So I haven't been training them.

*sigh*

I will most likely be making a video or writing another blog about how I'm doing and feeling with all this emotional and mental stuff. :)
