Hello Everyone!
I feel like it has been a while since I did just a blog letting you guys know how I've been and what I've been up to... Do you really care about that? Who knows. LOL. But I do enjoy blogging. So just deal with it! Ha. JKJK.

I didn't write much yesterday.. My silly computer was moving way too slow for my patience. LOL.
But it is cooporating today! YAY!!!
Okay so... I have officially gained 20lbs since the morning of my last bodybuilding show. I was 104lbs the morning before stepping on stage. And this morning I was 124. *sigh*
It sure has been a challenge to accept this journey I am on. The changes and progress in my physique and on the scale are the opposite of what I am used to. But like I have said numerous times... This is all necessary to bring a better ME to the stage next time.
In order to improve I have to grow. In order to grow I have to gain weight. And with that will come BOTH muscle and some fat. Fortunately, Tony and I have done a great job with maximizing the muscle gains, and minimizing the fat! Woot woot!
And to top that off.. I am stronger than I have ever been! And I'm eating a ton of food!!! And having one cheat meal a week! :)

You know what I find funny...? The fact that I do this blog... But it is really like my diary (in a way). I literally share just about everything with you guys (whoever actually read my blogs). LOL.
Do you like reading what goes on in my head? Do you like seeing my ups and downs in life?
My thought behind starting this blog was to share and show everyone that I am human too.
Pro athletes are human just like the rest of US!!!
We struggle. We think negative thoughts. We have breakdowns. We have fails and losses.
Anyways... That was my little rant... Now let's continue.
So.. Bodybuilding off-season is going great. I am getting to a point where I am ready for a mini cut! Which is perfect because I have a mini cut planned after my meet.

Man, oh man! I feel like this week has completely ran away from me!
This was my first week baking pretty much every day. It was fun. But tiring and very busy.
And to think... I don't ever really have that many orders!!! Woo!!! But I do have some orders! Which is super cool!
This feels like it is the worst blog ever! I literally cannot focus or think right now.
I have so much on my mind.
-Baking and trying to grow my new business!
--> I'm trying not to bake too much/too many things, because then I just have a house FULL of treats, that Tony and I cannot eat! So if you are reading this and want some treats... Message me or email me (kaylie.trainer@gmail.com). If you see something that I post (https://www.instagram.com/keeks.treats/) that you are interested in trying... I can send you some free samples! All you would have to do is pay for shipping.. & FOLLOW my baking IG.. And post about the treats :)
-Training and how to become a better athlete.
--> And with that I am also thinking about how much weight I've gained. I know that I am in the best shape I have ever been in, in an off-season... But it is still difficult for me to accept it. *sigh* Tony did mention that the cheat meals will probably we go away soon... So that will be good because then I will probably drop a few pounds from just doing that.
--> But then that makes me think... WHY THE HELL DO I WANT TO DROP WEIGHT!!?? I am supposed to be growing!!!!! I need to keep in mind my overall goal! The big picture!!! In order to be better next time I step on stage.. I need to grow and put on more muscle! And in order to do that, I do need to put on actual weight (and some fat).
--> Plus, it isn't healthy to be super lean all the time.
-How can I be a better coach???!!!
--> While trying to learn more about baking... I still am trying to become a better coach for my clients! I want them all to accomplish their goals!!! I do think I'm doing a decent job. But I would like to be better!!!
--> Especially at Strength Union!!! This week I was doing a lot of computer work while I was at the gym. I need to manage my time better, get my computer work done at a different time. That way, during team training... I am 100% present for my members!!!
I am a consant work in progress!!! As soon as I feel like I've figured things out... A new thing comes along to chanllenge me. Which is great!!! It keeps me moving forward and improving!
-I want to learn and read more!!!!
--> I cannot keep up with all the reading and things to learn! But then again.. If I could/did... Then I feel like things would get boring really quick.
--> I just need to focus on one thing at a time. Focus on the task, the book, the article, the podcast, etc... AT HAND! Multitasking is not my specialty. I tend to get overwhelmed. Plus, it isn't the best to multitask... Simply because you are doing multiple tasks half-assed! Versus focusing on one thing at a time FULL-ASSED! LOL.
Long story, LONGER! I just need to take a breath. Keep doing what I'm doing. Keep working. Stay productive.
But I also need to make sure I am resting and taking care of myself. I am getting a massage this evening! Yay!!!
I am so fortunate to be able to do everything I love. Sure it can be a lot at times... But I cannot complain!!
I get to be an athlete, a coach, a new baker, a wife. I get to make my own schedule. I get to wear pj's or workout clothes all day long. :)
I am happy and thankful, and excited to continue to grow and get better!!!
Well, I think I'm going to stop rambling now!
