US Open Week 1

Monday February 12, 2018

Everything is feeling quite good! I am very excited to start meet prep.

The way that I live is definitely a lifestyle. And it a lifestyle that I love to live!

But! I am also very competitive. & I take things, kind of, to the extreme!

Prepping for my bodybuilding shows.. EXTREME!

Prepping for a powerlifting meet.. EXTREME!

While I'm prepping for a competition.. I am on point with my training, nutrition, and cardio (especially with bodybuilding)!

So when I'm not prepping for something... I try to relax a little... But not too much. I still am a coach and pro athlete. Plus... If you have read my Improvement Season blogs... Then you probably know that I have a hard time relaxing when it comes to eating and gaining weight.

With that being said... I am very very VERY excited to be prepping for something again!

Having a competition to prepare for helps stick to the plan just that much better!

As you may have seen... Tony and I ate all of the food for my birthday weekend.

Going forward... We will only be having a cheat meal Friday night (replacing our last meal or two meals).

Friday is a training day. And Saturday is a rest day. So that works out because we won't have to train feeling all bloated from the cheat meal.

Happy Valentine's Day, everyone!!! <3

I wanted to bake this morning for my coworkers... But I decided not to. At least not this morning.

I was pretty hungry this morning... And I didn't want to set myself up for failure with my macros. I also didn't want to test my willpower at 4 o'clock in the morning. No need to make myself suffer.

I will just bake on Friday (my refeed day)... And I'll bring the treats in on Monday!

The lifestyle that I live isn't the easiest... But then again... Is any life the "easiest?" I feel like everyone had challenging moments. I mean if you don't... Then your life sounds kinda boring. But I do do my best to make things a little easier... Like not baking when I'm hungry & cannot eat the treats. LOL.

Anyways... Enough about baking. Ha!

Since my bday... I have been following my plan like a good client! And I am feeling great! Who would have thought?! Haha. I weighed in at 125 this morning... But I'm not even mad about it.

1. The number on the scale doesn't really matter (unless I am trying to break a world record in a specific weight class).

2. I'm in my off season... So I need to be putting on weight in order to grow.

3. I definitely feel like I am getting leaner/tighter. WOOT WOOT!

4. I have a coach... And as long as I am following the plan... It is up to him to make the necessary changes.

5. I am FINALLY accepting my off season body. And I am going to embrace the sh*t out of my sexy curves! Ha!

Short & sweet blog. Bye for now :)
