Pro Debut Recap

So... My pro debut has come and gone in a blink of an eye! Wow!

Prep just flew by... And then this past weekend flew by as well.

And it sure was a blast!!!

I didn't place.. I tied for 17th with like 9 other girls.

Am I upset? No, not really.

Would I have liked to place higher? Of course.

But it is all okay. The whole experience was amazing.

This show was all for the ladies. And all for the pros.

No men and now NPC competitors. It was very cool.

All the people who helped run the show were amazing! The tanning and make-up company/employees were the best! And even the photographers back stage were awesome! Everyone was just so nice!!!

And the other competitors.. OMG! I love them! They were all the sweetest ladies ever!

So... What did I learn/take from this weekend..?

1. I need to get a lot leaner now that I'm a pro!!! Meaning... I have A LOT of work to do!

2. I am very small! I think I'm buff & stuff... I am not! Not compared to these women. So after my next show (Oct. 7, 2017) I will be going into a STRICT & very strategic off season. I plan on staying leaner and GROWING! No post-show rebound this time!!! I'm doing thing right!!!

3. I need to pose "bigger." I will be meeting up with one of the ladies I competed with to work on my posing. She is so kind to help me out!

4. I need to add volume to my hair. Tony said my hair looked flat.

5. I need to not expect my friends and family that come to watch me... To some how know where to go and what to do... I need to make sure they are taken care of!

A lot of people at the show kept commenting on my age.

I guess even through the tan and pound of make-up.. I still look like a baby.

I even emailed the head judge... And she said the same thing. She also gave me awesome feedback, which I really appreciate!

She basically said that I need to focus on growing/putting on more muscle mass. She said not to worry about tightening up, that if I grow, then the conditioning will come.

And the fact that I am young means that changes will come fast! YAY!

I seriously couldn't be happier with how this weekend went. Last place and all!

I met amazing people. I had so much fun! And I now know where I stand in the IFBB Pro League.

I do want to take a moment and thank my parents, my grandma Micky, my best friend Jason and his gf Lacey, my mom #2 Doreen and her husband for coming out and cheering me on! I also owe my boyfriend, Tony, a huge THANK YOU! He has been there for me through out my prep, and on this big weekend! And we have another 4 weeks to go! I will be competing at Border States October 7th in San Diego, CA. Then after that... IT'S TIME TO GROW!!!
