You guys can probably guys where I'm at... Yep... Work (the dealership).
But!!! I have some really exciting news to share with you all!!!!
I put in my two weeks today (maybe 3 weeks if they need my help).
Either way... I'm almost done with this place!!! Woohooo!
Don't get me wrong... It has been an amazing place to work! And I am so, extremely lucky to have found a job with the flexibility I needed to still do my own stuff on the side!!!!

So... What am I going to do now that I won't be working at the dealership?
I am going to be at the gym. I am going to be out and about... Marketing and networking.
The plan is to talk to EVERYONE! And get people into the gym! Get the word out there about the gym.
I also want to get to know the community better. And have the community get to know me as a coach and athlete.
I will be writing out a weekly schedule for myself. I do really well with structure.
And now that I will be working for myself... I need that more than ever! I won't have anyone there to tell me to do my job. I won't have anyone handing my a paycheck. I cannot just show up and clock in.
I NEED TO WORK MY ASS OFF! Day in and day out!
I'm very excited for this! It is very much outside of my comfort zone.. But I know I can and will do it!!!
This is what I'm passionate about! This is what I love to do! And now I have the opportunity to do just that!
I can 100% focus on the gym, the online business, and being a bodybuilder.
I will also have more time to learn and grow mentally! Woo! I'm getting pumped while I write this!!!!
With all this being said... If you are looking for an online training or nutrition coach. Don't hesitate to email me with any questions. kaylie.trainer@gmail.com
If you are in the SE Portland, OR area (or close to it) the please come by Strength Union!!! Grab a 7-day pass and get in some great workouts!!! :)
OKAY... Let's talk prep now.
I seem to always title my blogs about prep.. But then I talk about other things. HA!
As of Saturday 8/18/18 I was 7 and 9 weeks out.
Time has just flown by! I feel like I haven't been dieting or prepping for that long! I feel like I need more time.
But I know I will be just fine! I gave myself plenty of time to diet down.
I have lost about 15 pounds. My heaviest weight was 136. And my current low weight is 121.
I normally lose about 30 pounds during prep. So, if I do that again... Then I will be about 5 pounds heavier than last year... So the goal is to be heavier but leaner!!! Meaning I put on muscle!!! We shall see! :)
My current macros are:
Training days: P105/C75/F14
Rest days: P100/C50/F0
Refeed day: P100/C430/F0 *I do replace my last meal with a cheat meal... So I probably end up eating more calories than that.
Current Cardio:
6 days a week - 45 mins fasted - 30 HIIT,, 15 steady state
4 days a week - 30 mins post workout - HIIT
I generally do fasted cardio Sunday-Friday. And post cardio Sunday- Wednesday.
But I don't have specific days that I "have to" do it on.
I just now started feeling like I'm prepping.
By that I mean... I feel tired and drained. My body feels heavy. I'm getting hungry.
I feel emotional. I feel sore just about all the time.
All these feeling are NOT all the time though. Just occasionally.
And no matter how I feel... I don't take it out on anyone else!
It is my own choice to diet and do bodybuilding shows! So keep this in mind when you decide to do something challenging :)
