I am currently laying in bed while I type this blog.
I feel a litle out of it right now. I'm not really sure why... I feel like I have a cloudy head.. & when I stand up I feel lightheaded. But oh well... I just have to relax today.
Well kinda... I do have to shower and exfoliate my little body.
I also have to straighten my hair so I don't have to do it later.
And at 1pm I have Athlete's Check-In.
Between 3:45-5:15pm I have to get my first tan.
I think I might have to go to grocery store as well... & maybe have to train a little to get the carbs to my muscles.
So I guess I can't really say I just have to relax today. LOL. It is kind of a busy day.
Competition weekend is normally busy... But lazy all at the same time. :)
Either way... I am very excited to be on stage again!!! I feel good!
This morning when I sent coach pictures... I saw some hammies popping!!! Woo!!!
Leggies need to keep tightening up... & then we will be in a good spot!
Well... I think I'm going to take a short little nap before I shower and do my hair. Good night for now.
It is now 6:39pm.
I went to athlete's check-in. Got my first layer of tan.
The tan is definitley my least favorite part of competing. But it is what it is :)

Now I am just relaxing. Taking pics for coach and checking my blood glucose.
Pricking myself is poop... My fingers don't like it. But it takes a lot of the guessing out of carbing up.
We are keeping things cleaner this time around. No burger or anything tonight. No pancakes in the morning.
Of course I wish I could have those things... But I would rather look better and leaner on stage!
I do have another show is two weeks. So... Keeping things in check!
Well... I'm having a hard time focusing right now. As you can imagine... I have a lot on my mind. And a lot of emotions running through my little body. Ha. I will continue this blog later :)

Man oh man... This weekend just flew by!
I cannot believe that my first show of the year is already over! So crazy!
Prep went by so fast!!! Which is a good thing, I guess... Because who wants a diet to drag on forever? LOL.
So... the big question... HOW DID MY SHOW GO?

Well... I went into the weekend very stressed out. I wanted to look good... & I didn't feel like I did.
I just didn't feel like I was quite lean enough yet.
I know how I felt for Border States last year... And it just wasn't the same this year.
I'm not sure if the fact that I was bigger had anything to do with it... Being bigger is a good thing. But it could have been a bit of a mind-fuck to see that the scale was up almost 10 pounds... Who really knows.
For pre-judging... I felt very lethargic and flat. I felt like I had no energy. I was really cold. And couldn't get a pump before stage. Which is what it is... I did what I had to do on stage... And no one knew I felt that way except for me.
After judging... I text my coach and sent him some pics... He said I was flat... So he told me to have a burger and fries. So OF COURSE I DIDN'T ARGUE! LOL. I literally had the biggest burger I have ever had! I couldn't even get my mouth around it (THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!) Hahahaha! And I ate the whole damn thing!!!! Then I took a nice nap. Woo!!!! I felt and looked so much better after that!
Oh and... I also took my fat burners.... Tony reminded me that I didn't take them in the morning... Which is probably why I was so low on energy.
Needless to say... I felt so much better for finals. Plus... Most of the nervousness was gone (& that was the case for pretty much all of the girls). We were all a lot more socialble backstage. The judging was pretty much done. Now we just go on stage to show case our physiques one last time and then they announce the winners. And due to judging... I knew I wasn't one of them.
Which is okay... I know that I have a lot of work to do!
After finals... I instantly drank a bunch of water, and ate two bananas! So fast, it was like I didn't even eat them! LOL. When you diet, and when you peak for a show... You forget how delicious things like WATER & BANANAS are :)
From the venue... Tony and I went straight to Funky Burgers and Fries.
He asked me what I wanted to eat (coach said I could eat whatever I wanted that night).
"I JUST WANT EVERYTHING SWEET!" I say. LOL.
I want a big milkshake! I want cookies & brownies, ICE CREAM! :)
Yes! I have a huge sweet tooth!

So that's what we did. I got a huge milkshake while Tony had a burger.
Then we stopped by the UFC Gym to watch the McGregor fight. That was a good fight! I can't believe McGregor tapped out. & then I can't believe all the craziness after the fight!!!! Woo!
After that Tony and I went the Extraordinary Desserts! We waited in a decent line for some pretty good desserts.
To be honest I would have been fine with some Ben and Jerry's and Oreos. But hey... I have to at least try the fancy desserts once.
My favorite desserts we had from there were the little chocolate toffee candies and I got this pumpkin pastry! MMMMMM! Oh and my milkshake of course was absolutely AMAZZZINNNGGGG!
I got the breakfast shake!!!! It had different cereals on/in it. It had poptarts, bacon, and mini pancakes on top! It was beautiful!!!! So worth it!!!!!
After all of the sweets... We finally went to bed around midnight! Woo! Party animals we were!

A week and a half away from my next show!!!
EEEKKK! I'm nervous already! But excited!!!!
For some reason I seem to be less stressed for the second show of the year.
The same thing happened last year.
I am feeling good though. I am back down to 111 pounds.. Which is what I was before leaving for San Diego.
So I hope to lose a pound or two this week. And then the same next week.
If I can get as close to 106 pounds a possible. Then that will be perfect!!!
When I got my body fat tested a while back... The lady told me that I had 106 pounds of lean tissue!
So yeah!!!! That would mean that I am pretty much as lean as I can be at the moment! I'M SO CLOSE!!!!

The big question I've been getting asked... WHAT ARE YOU DOING THESE NEXT TWO WEEKS???
Some ask if I get to take a break and relax now? NO! The opposite actually!
I got to relax Saturday night after Border States.
Come Sunday I got right back to work & right back on the plan 100%.
And I plan on working EVEN HARDER these next two weeks!!!!
Coach increased my cardio.. Just added an extra day.
So I will be doing 7 days of fasted cardio and 5 days of post workout cardio.
At the moment I either do a circuit (if I'm at Strength Union) or I do the treadmill (if I'm at Bfit).
It is to the point that my poor little feet are getting blistered from all the cardio. LOL. Oh well! Keep pushing!!!
Well... I kinda feel like I am talking in circles. So I'm going to end this blog here.
Check out my most recent YouTube video. I will have another one up this week.
