I was pretty hungry this morning. But it's okay... I survived. LOL. I just did my normal routine and sipped on a zero calorie powerade to kill that craving of a protein bar.
Yes! I said protein bar! I love protein bars! They are like candy to me!
Plus... Quest Nutrition sent me two boxes of their new Birthday Cake bar! I want to eat them ALLLLLL! (oink)
But I won't eat them! Not until my next cheat meal.. Then I will enjoy one or two.
ANYWAYS... Let's change the subject...
MY NORMAL MORNING ROUTINE:
-Get up (obviously) I'm up between 340am-4am
-Go to the bathroom
-Weigh myself (naked)
-Brush my teeth and rinse my face
-Fasted cardio (I am currently doing 30-35 mins on my spin bike)
-Do the dishes
-Make coffee for Tony and me
-Get all my vitamins ready for the day
-Read or do some stretching.. Or something else LOL (Today I did a video voiceover)
-Around 5am-530am I start to make breakfast
Then I eat breakfast :)
If I have work at the dealership I will finish breakfast around 610am.
If I don't work.. Then I will take a bit longer... I like to eat slow & enjoy EVERY, SINGLE bite :)
I am now done with breakfast.. It is 723am.
I like to do most of my tasks for the day in the mornings. It is the time I am most productive.
Generally.. After my workout I am very lazy. I mean I will still get stuff done. But I move a lot slower, and procrastinate a lot more.
MY TASKS FOR TODAY:
-Read & take notes on my training text book
-Make and schedule at least two youtube videos
-Workout, of course! Today I bench!
-Podcast with my handsome man <3
-Go tanning. I call this nap time! LOL
-Grocery shopping. I like to get my groceries the day/night before I meal prep..
There are a few other little things.. But these are the most important.
And of course... I text/email clients throughout the day :)
OKAY! So let's talk more about how my improvement season is going.
If you didn't notice... When I talk too much about food it helps when I change the subject. It gets my mind off food.
I watched a video today about post-show/reverse dieting.
It was nice to hear that this part of the journey is a struggle for the majority of competitors... Which I did already know, but it is nice to hear it again.
Now that I am not traveling so much.. And I finally got a good weekend off from work; I definitely feel better!
My weight is still higher than what my coach wants it to be at, but that's okay... I did just have my refeed/cheat on Saturday... & it normally takes half the week for that weight to come off. Then I will normally hit a new low on the scale.
The off season is a little different though. My goal isn't necessarily to hit a new low. I am just aiming to get to 110lbs and just sit there for as long as possible... While increasing my macros.
With that being said... My coach did lower my macros after my last check-in. I've been sitting around 113, so we (my coach and I) are cleaning things up. I do still get my refeed/cheat though.. So that's good!
Speaking of cheat.... I wanted to talk to you guys about something I mentioned in my previous blog.
WHY DO I STILL EAT MY NORMAL MEALS/MACROS, EVEN AFTER EATING OFF MY PLAN?
Wednesday November 8, 2017
Okay... Before I talk about the question above... I need to vent a little!
WHY THE HECK WON'T MY WEIGHT FIGURE ITSELF OUT?!
I woke up at 114 this morning. I know that's not a lot... But my coach wants me to be at 110. He already lowed my food... And I really don't want him to lower it again. But then again... I also have to make sure that I follow things to a T! I am really good with my macros... But the past couple days, I have had some samples at the grocery stores. Tisk tisk on my part! UGH!
Anyways.. I need to practice what I preach... DON'T STRESS OVER THE SCALE!
Okay... Now let's talk about that question.
So why do I still eat my normal meals/macros even after eating off my plan?
1. When/if I eat off my plan, I don't measure out what I eat... So I wouldn't know how many calories/macros to take away from my meals.
2. I was obviously hungry.. That's why I ate extra. Therefore taking food away would only make me hungry again.
3. I'm not prepping for a show (that's why I'm struggling with my plan)...
4. I try not to let my mess up dictate my day. Sure I ate a protein bar... Now get back on track. Don't over think it.
Like I have said, and will continue to say... Post show is the most difficult part of this journey!
And I definitely think that I am overthinking it all. I am making it harder on myself. But I'm not entirely sure how to do otherwise. Obviously I don't want this to be hard. But it is.
Sorry for rambling... You should already know how my blogs are.
*sigh*
I'm going to cut this one short.. Not really short. LOL.
Let's take a breather from all this food and body weight talk... Watch my YouTube video on my bench exercises!
